Over a career spanning two decades, I’ve gained valuable knowledge in multiple areas of development with numerous, demonstrable examples of system and game design, documentation, content creation, scheduling, and mentoring.

04-Present - Game Designer/Lead Designer

Played a pivotal role in Team17’s commercial output over the last 10+ years across many games and franchises such as Worms and Escapists, notably Leading design for Overcooked 2, a hugely successful title for the business both critically and commercially, recently taking lead duties on The Survivalists. Guiding that game from concept, through pitches, prototypes and into full development, creatively driving the core design, systems and mechanics.

Rare Ltd

95-03 - QA/Game Designer

Joined Rare as part of a design team working on Killer Instinct 2, creating move sets and balancing combat, before moving onto the Conkers Bad Fur Day team as a level and gameplay designer.

Later playing a key role in the in-house handheld development team working on hugely successful IP’s such as Donkey Kong Country and licensed properties from companies like Disney.
