Worms 4: Mayhem
Sequel to the successful Worms 3D, Worms: Mayhem is a larger much more ambitious game than its predecessor. Large fully destructible 3D environments are the back drop to a game that has all the tapping of the classic 2D worms. The gameplay is similar to that of the previous game retaining the turned based combat, adding a more developed story mode in addition to all the things associated with the franchise, such as a robust multiplayer mode.
In this installment, players could customize the appearance of their worms, including helmets, glasses, facial hair, and gloves. A new mode called "Weapon Factory" was added, allowing players to forge their own weapons.
Responsibilities
Worked on the project as a level designer focused on environment design and environmental object creation.
Created many of the environmental scenery props used for the Construction and Wild West stages.
Whitebox of some stages using the same proprietary tool used to create the objects.
The game was built using its own tech and engine to handle the fully destructible 3D stages.
Overlooked, reviewed, signed off, and managed the design of the project.
